Hello, my name is Angelia, and I’m so happy to meet you
I wanted to share a little about myself, how I got into personal brand photography, and why I love my job,so ultimately, you’re more comfortable working with me.
I have a lot of different roles in my day to day life, as I’m sure you do too. From traveling, finding the best business books to read, to trying to keep my garden growing over summer (Arizona heat is brutal), I’ve always got something to do.
However, I can say without a doubt that photography is one of my greatest passions though. I began the serious part of my photography journey five years ago. My father was one of my greatest photography inspirations. He made the 1st investment in my photography journey. At first I have to admit I had no clue I’d love photography as much as I do today. I loved most on my old point and shoot camera, and which ones I wanted more control over.
As I watched him photograph everyone in our family with the old polaroid camera, oooh the nostalgia ;). I started to love it more and more when his course here on earth abruptly come to an end.
It was something that was important to me and I was happy this was another gem he shared with me. I found my old senior high school book and I found the aspiration page, wanna guess what I wanted to be when I grew up? You got it a Photographer and a cosmetologist, ( I have always loved hair).
I have to tell you, when I purchased my 1st dslr Canon Rebel t5, (professional camera- well to me at the time). It was a very overwhelming experience. I was not used to being so concerned about so many things as it related to imagery.
I didn’t care, I wanted to learn. I searched connected to a few people on Facebook at the time but I jumped right into learning from another local photographer, whom I will forever be grateful to Tina Strickland. She was my first mentor. Kudos to Ms Tina!
I fell more and more in love with photography as I worked, and eventually figured out that capturing people was what made it the most fun for me. Today, I’m proud to have photographed tens of hundreds of remarkable entrepreneurs and professionals.
Each of them has trusted me and my lens with their brands and images. I take that responsibility incredibly seriously.
I believe your personality and brand are of the utmost importance. I’ll be working with you personally to ensure that you’re comfortable and confident before you ever stand in front of my lens. We’ll work together to pick the perfect outfits, hairdos, and even arrangements for your session.
I don’t want this to be anything less than an experience. My goal is to create the personal branding session both you and your brand will love. I have the perfect new space to try out with you. You and your brand deserve the absolute best!
